Oregonians For Medical Freedom Notes:
HB 2220 Would allow dentists to give vaccines in their office. This is of great concern as we don’t know if a dentist will be trained to recognize allergies, reactions or side effects.
Bill Title: Relating to vaccines administered by dentists; declaring an emergency.
Summary: Authorizes trained and certified dentists to prescribe and administer vaccines. Directs Oregon Board of Dentistry to adopt rules related to prescription and administration of vaccines by dentists. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
