Rally FAQs:

Where do I park?

Link to the parking map around Salem is here, please note there is also underground parking available. All parking requires payment, the parking around the outside can take a card, underground parking requires coins.

Is there a bus?

Yes, there is limited space on two busses leaving from the Portland area. Please sign up here. Space is first come, first available. Locations are Washington Square and Clackamas Town Center.

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be some food carts available, or you can also pack a lunch. We cannot guarantee specific food allergy needs, so plan accordingly.

Where is the rally?

The rally will be held on the front steps of the capitol and overflow into the park across the street. There will be a sound system set up to accommodate the overflow so everyone can hear the speakers.

Is this a family friendly event?

YES! You are encouraged to bring your family. There will be a kid’s tent set up with some activities and you are welcome to go inside the capitol. Just remember no signs will be allowed inside, please leave them against the side of the building before coming in.

Can I donate? Buy something?

Yes, if you want to donate at the rally there will be information and a QR code you can scan. OR you can simply donate now on our website. There will also be a booth with Tshirts for sale.

Can I help?

Yes! Please invite your friends and family to come. We also need some help with specific things you can find our volunteer document here.

What should my sign say? Do I have to have a sign?

Please keep your signs respectful and address HB3063, parental rights, education rights as examples. Signs are not required at all, but we would love to see them!

What if I have questions? How do I find….?

Look in the crowd for individuals wearing yellow vests, blue or yellow baseballs hats, they are there to help with questions or can direct you where to go.

Bathrooms are located inside the capitol on the first floor, past the information desk to the right or on the NE side of the park.
